In development

FoldLens Junior

The K-12 (ages 9–14) sibling of FoldLens. Same AlphaFold Database content, tier-appropriate voice, NGSS Middle School Life Science alignment, COPPA + state ASAA compliance built in by design. Distributed via classroom-oriented channels (HHMI BioInteractive, LabXchange, PhET-iO peer alignment). v1.0 target 2027 Q1.

ResearchAtlas

A FoundationModels-driven on-device explorer over the Fold Commons research archive — currently 158+ deep reports on AlphaFold, AI drug discovery, biotech ecosystems, regulatory + funding landscapes, Apple-platform AI for science. Quote-faithful grounding with mandatory inline citations. No quote, no claim. Text-first. v1.0 target 2026 Q4.

• FoldCompare — experimental ↔ predicted (PDB vs AFDB) diff viewer with pLDDT / B-factor overlay.

How we build them

Each app sits on top of FoldKit, a shared open-source Swift library housing the AlphaFold Database client, the Metal rendering pipeline, the reusable SwiftUI chrome. We don't copy-paste; we reuse. When FoldLens improves the renderer, FoldLens Junior and FoldCompare inherit the improvement on their next build.

All source code is private during build-out and goes public at v1.0 under Apache 2.0. The research archive content is CC BY 4.0.
